Samantha is an award-winning actor and director with over 25 years experience in film and theatre across Canada and on international stages. Renowned for her emotionally resonant performances and innovative visual storytelling, she brings a unique blend of artistic and technical expertise to every project. 

 

Samantha has been at the forefront of intimacy coordination in Nova Scotia, and is committed to fostering safe, authentic and impactful stories on screen. 

 

Her intimacy coordination film and television credits include: Jeffrey’s Turn (Stone Cold Prod.); Sharp Corner (Crave/Elevation Pictures); We Were Liars Ep.1 & Ep. 5/cover (NBC); Dawn, Her Dad and the Tractor (Picture Plant Prod.); The Trades Ep. 1(Crave/Swearnet); The Menage, A Walk in the Sun (AFCoop Film 5); and the web series I Hear You (interwoven films). 

 

In addition to her creative work, Samantha is a dedicated educator, having taught and directed for institutions including Sheridan College, York, Acadia and Mount Allison Universities, and serving as part-time faculty at Dalhousie University since 2011. 

 

Samantha was trained by Intimacy Coordinators and Directors (USA) and is a member of Intimacy Coordinators Canada
