We are no longer accepting applications for our 

Level 3 - Advanced Professional Training program for 2022.

This is the only Canadian Intimacy Coordinator training program 

accredited by SAG/AFTRA.

Level 1 is a 4-week online course to solidify the foundations of intimacy work in performance. Level 1 is open to any and all, regardless of plans to work toward the full certification.

Level 2 is a 6-week online course exploring intermediate applications of intimacy work. Level 2 is open to anyone who has completed Level 1, regardless of plans to work towards the full certification.

In Level 3, candidates transition from learning foundational ideas to the specific hands-on details of what it takes to be an Intimacy Coordinator.

This program consists of

12-weeks of online training starting in September 2022 and an in-person weekend workshop.

Admission into program by application only. Program fee: $2500.00

Level 4 aims to provide professional support and mentorship as you begin working professionally in the industry.

 

Successful completion of Level 4 results in certification with ICC.

Prerequisites before applying to ICC

  • Completed Level 1 & 2 Intimacy Coordinator training program through IDC professionals

  • Minimum of 300 hours, 5 years, or 15 show credits working on film & television sets, ideally in a Directorial, Choreography, or Coordinator position 

  • Experience in movement instruction or coaching

  • Gender and Sexuality training

  • Anti-oppression training

  • Mental health first aid (and subsequent MHFA working with minors) training and background

  • Current legal ability to work in Canada

Recommended training:

  • Sexual education advocacy courses and background

  • Trauma informed training
